Fishermen mend nets aboard their boats docked at the Dalian Heizuizi Fishing Port, in Dalian, Liaoning, China, before heading back out to sea. Despite shrinking profit margins caused by a scarcity of fish, the area, with its long history of aquacultural economy, still lures fishermen to try their luck harvesting mainly yellow-fin tuna and Spanish mackarel off its shore, in the waters of the Yellow Sea. With its mild climate, Dalian, on Bohai Bay, local fisheries have been nearly exhausted by over fishing.
